There's a new Sheriff in town!

INDN’s List congratulates endorsed candidate Bruce Curnutt on his August 26th victory! Bruce becomes the new Sheriff of LeFlore County in January when he takes his oath of office.

The voters of LeFlore County showed their support for Bruce in the August 26th runoff election. Bruce received 2,976 votes (60.34 percent) and the incumbent, Bob Campbell, received  1,956 votes (39.66 percent).

“The citizens told me they were ready for a change in the Sheriff's office. I will do my best to live up to the expectations of those who voted for me,” Bruce said at his victory speech. “I am honored the citizens have given me a chance to serve them and I look forward to serving the people of LeFlore County.”
