Congratulations, Ken!  On Election Night, Representative Luttrell won his reelection bid with 59.71% of the vote.

Representative Ken Luttrell, an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation, has dedicated a lifetime to working with at-risk youth to prevent drug abuse and gang violence. His service to the community and his commitment to Oklahoma’s future were endorsed by the voters of Oklahoma House District 37, when he was elected to the Oklahoma State House in 2006.

In his first term in the Oklahoma House, Representative Luttrell proved himself as a progressive leader on critical issues facing all Oklahomans.  Representative Luttrell introduced legislation to protect our children from the damage of cigarette smoke. 

Representative Luttrell continues to serve on the advisory boards for the Salvation Army and the Boys and Girls Club. Rep. Luttrell’s commitment to youth and the community have been recognized by Oklahoma governors of both parties and by former President Clinton. Representative Luttrell, a veteran of the U.S. Army, works with young people as a boxing coach and has worked in retail sales and management for more than two decades. Married to his wife Brenda for over twenty years, they have two daughters, Shannon and Lauren.

State of the Race:
Representative Luttrell does not face a Democratic opponent for the July primary. In November, Representative Luttrell will face Republican candidate Brent Colle in November's General Election.
