Pete RG Coser Jr. is of the Muscogee-Creek, Choctaw and Chickasaw Nations of Oklahoma. He is an enrolled member of the Muscogee-Creek Nation. His parents are Pete, Sr., and Jo Anna Coser, and has two sisters, Kim Waters and Ashleigh Coser. His wife's name is Rebekah (Maher) and his two sons are Jacob and Gunter. Pete was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He actively participates in the ceremonies of the Creek people. Mr. Coser is a part of the Fox Clan, Kvsetv Tribal Town and Apekv Talladega Ceremonial Grounds. Moreover, Pete is a part of a powwow arena. He is a part of the drum family Red Land Singers, a northern style singing group created in 1968 by Tony Arkeketa.

Mr. Coser is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, with a B.A. in Political Science. He is currently a student at the University of Oklahoma, Tulsa campus, in the Masters of Human Relations program. Upon completion, Pete is looking forward to attend a doctoral program along the east coast. His main areas of interests are Native American issues in politics, health, federal and tribal relations, and the sport of lacrosse.

Pete has played lacrosse for over ten years. Along with his father, Pete Sr. and Jr. started the Oklahoma State University Men's Cowboy Lacrosse Team in 1999 and is presently active in a national college club sanctioned league. His belief is the foundation of "modern-day" lacrosse, since the sport was given to Native people by God (or the Creator) and modernized by the French, provides participants the "healing game" aspect because of the connection to the traditional game. He currently plays on the Tulsa Men's Lacrosse Club as a midfielder and attackman.

Pete's work experience includes working for Talking Leaves Job Corps as a career advisor. Talking Leaves Job Corps is under the Department of Labor and is operated by the Cherokee Nation. He has worked with young adults from different backgrounds to provide housing, higher education, employment and other tribal and public services in the northeastern region of Oklahoma. Pete has also been a part of Oklahoma Association of Career and Employment Professionals (OACEP) organization.

When not playing lacrosse and studying, Pete enjoys reading. His favorite books include Keith Olbermann's Truth and Consequences and Vine Deloria's God Is Red. Other favorites include watching lacrosse games, primarily Syracuse Men's lax, "Viva la Bam" and "Family Guy", and listens to rock, hip-hop and powwow music. Also, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family at home, lacrosse games, and powwows.
