A Nooksack tribal member and the tribe’s Natural Resources Director for the past 10 years, Bob Kelly is a committed father and community leader that will serve well the families of Whatcom County.

Having spent a decade fighting protect and sustain the vital resources of his tribe and Washington communities – salmon, forest, and water – as the Natural Resources Director of the Nooksack Tribe, Bob Kelly knows what it takes to make sure the next generations enjoy the same assets and opportunities that the residents of Whatcom County know and love.

Bob Kelly is running on a four-pronged platform that includes a commitment to preserving the quality of life in Whatcom County, enacting smart, permanent solutions that protect the drinking water of the county’s residents, responsibly managing county growth so that all can benefit, and saving area farmland and forests essential to economic livelihoods yesterday, today, and in the years to come.

With endorsements from the Whatcom County Democrats, a former County Councilmember, and current Bellingham City Councilmember Terry Bornemann, Kelly proved that he has the experience and expertise necessary to make the coming century as good as the last.
